Fishing in the Shadow of the Eiffel Tower

Unlike my more-cultured wife, I have not been to France. To be honest, there are probably at least a hundred places I’d rather visit. So while I’ve fished in Paris, Tennessee and near Paris, Texas, and despite the fact that my childhood home was on Rouen Drive, I’m far from a Francophile. Nevertheless, while watching some coverage of the Olympics, I started to wonder what the country’s fishing opportunities are like, and whether there are any on the Seine which flows through Paris.
