Video Recap of Five Days Fishing (and eating and drinking) in Islamorada

group of seven anglers at Morada Bay Islamorada Florida Keys

The crew on the recent Islamorada Florida trip is still talking about how much fun we all had. Once organized by yours truly all they had to do is get to Miami and follow my directions (!!!) and catch fish, which was no problem, as there were an abundance of them.

The Sunset Inn Hotel was newly renovated and was a mile from the marina. Mangrove Mike’s Café, opened at 6 am for an awesome breakfast and was in the parking lot of the Sunset Inn. We ate at several really good restaurants and some will cook your fish if you bring it to them already filleted. There were breweries with a lot of different beers and frozen drinks to be consumed and we did just that.

If you are looking to set up a trip to go tarpon or back country fishing or any trip for that matter, please email me at fishmore@halfpastfirstcast.com and I can help with your arrangements. In the meantime, check out my video of the things we did while in the Keys, Islamorada specifically, and the fun we had fishing and just hanging with new and old friends.
