MeatEater’s Das Boat – Potomac Snakeheads

I’ve been writing for the MeatEater media empire since 2020, and I’ve been friends with editor and trash fish legend Joe Cermele for much longer than that. He knows that I have mixed feelings about the invasive snakeheads, but he nevertheless enlisted me to help with a recent episode of the YouTube series “Das Boat” — once again chasing these evil-but-occasionally-fun illicit imports on the Potomac River.

It stars “MidwestFisherGal” Kristine Fischer and Top Chef Kevin Gillespie, but my driveway, garage and yard are featured from about the 4:15 mark until 9:30. Then I get a brief cameo starting at about the 16 minute mark.
