Shark Tank Fishing Products
I don’t watch much television, but one of the shows that consistently draws me in like a moth to a flame is ABC’s Shark Tank. I know that it’s heavily edited to make a viewable product, and may not reflect or reveal the entirety of the situation, but I like the process – seeing people present their ideas and seeing if my analysis is consistent with that offered by the “Sharks.”
I do wish I’d had a product to bring them, just to see how I’d fare under the gun.
Over the years, there have been several different fishing products offered:
Season 6: World Record Striper Company
Season 8: Line Cutterz
Season 8: TactiBite Fish Call
Season 12: Animated Lure
Of those four, I think the Line Cutterz is the only one that I’d consider for my fishing needs. Nevertheless, there may be other products they’ve reviewed (and in some cases invested in) that may appeal to anglers. Here are some of the candidates:
Season 3: AirBedz Truck Mattresses
If you need to sleep in the “Tundra Suites” on a fishing trip.
Season 4: Psi Bands Acupressure Wristbands
A more fashionable way to stave off seasickness?
Season 7: Combat Flip Flops
Empowering veterans and keeping you comfortably on your feet while you fish,
As Gerald Swindle later told us, sometimes you just need a “maintenance wipe.”
Season 8: Dart Drones Pilot Training
A decade ago they were novel, but today it seems you can’t be an angler or member of the media without knowing how to fly a drone.
I apply sunscreen every time I go fishing, but I do occasionally miss a spot or three.
Season 10: Subsafe
‘Cause soggy sandwiches suck.
Season 11: Fortress Coldweather Clothing
You can never have too much gear aimed at protecting you from the elements.
Oh, and for the record, greatest presentation in the history of Shark Tank is “I Want to Draw a Cat for You.”
