All Kinds of Rodents to Chuck

The first lure I bought at the Swimbait Universe Gathering 4 was the LFOD (Live Free or Die) Munk painted in the unmistakable chipmunk pattern depicted above. I’m not sure if it will produce better than the rat baits I already own in black, white and gray – or, indeed, whether it will produce better than the LFOD models in similar colors – but I had to have it. While there are plenty of mainstream lures meant to replicate rats and mice, I’ve also learned that some smaller-scale baitmakers have expanded their lineups further into the rodent section of Noah’s Ark. Here are some of my favorites:

For those of you who can’t get in on the drops or can’t spare the cash for those works of art, check out some of the more widely available non-rat, non-mouse rodent baits, as highlighted earlier this week.
