The Eight Craziest Swimbait Colors at Tackle Warehouse Right Now

Unpainted Glide Bait Blank

One of the things that has drawn me to the swimbait game is the creativity and occasional whimsy involved in the lure designs and paint jobs. If you get in on the drops or patrol the secondary market, you can find both hyper-realistic and bizarre lures, some of which are one-of-a-kind or available only in very limited quantities.

However, if you don’t want to mess with drops or auction sites or unreliable social media sellers, you can increasingly find various high-end swimbaits, glide baits and giant topwaters from retail sellers. For reasons of business efficiency, they’re generally available in pretty “vanilla” colors, but occasionally an oddball or three sneak through. Here are eight of the craziest colors available at Tackle Warehouse right now:

Jackall Gantarel Jr. Black Impact Gill

Black Impact Gill

Metallic Red Roman Made Negotiator

Metallic Red

Jackall Blast Bone Black Chrome

Black Chrome Bone

I realize that most (but not all) of these are darker colors – blacks, blues, reds. When would those be the ideal choice in a big bait? When would any of these colors be the best option?
