Cuts Like a Knife? A Clown Knifefish for the Wall
We got our stateside introduction to exotic fish when we caught peacock bass (along with Oscars) in the canals around the Miami airport over a decade ago, but over the next couple of years we need to make a trip back to Florida. There’s another bizarre fighter that’s high on my list: the Clown Knifefish.
They’re one of the most distinctive-looking species, so if we are fortunate enough to capture one or more, we might want to commission a replica or other trophy to remind us of the occasion. Here are a few of them ones I’ve found so far:
