Fishy Feet Socks

We’re in our fifties, a point in life when we’re supposed to stop accumulating stuff and start giving it away, but Hanna and I nevertheless always exchange at least token anniversary gifts. Apparently 18 years of marriage demands hosiery, so part of her gift to me was a four-pack of socks from Fishy Feet.

I’m not sure if it was coincidental, but the four species represented also pertain to our four favorite fishing lodges:

• Largemouth Bass for Anglers Inn

• Rainbow Trout for Bear Trail Lodge

• Yellowfin Tuna for Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge

• Mahi Mahi for Casa Vieja Lodge

I’ll try to deploy them strategically and I look forward to finding out what the 19th anniversary brings (along with many thereafter).
