We’re back from round three of chasing big yellowfin tuna in Panama and my passion for this species has not diminished one bit. If anything, it has grown as I’ve learned more about them. They can be caught a number of ways, pull exceptionally hard, test your tackle to its limits and excel on the plate, too.

So far the only downsides that I can see is that they can be an expensive obsession to chase, and that our friends at Tackle Warehouse have yet to establish a one-stop-shopping experience called “Tuna Warehouse.” Don’t fret, though.
