I Had a 6th Sense This Was Going to Happen
In our continuing effort to bring you the latest news on the world of travel rods – a genre that seems to be ever-changing – I consistently monitor the new product listings at Tackle Warehouse (along with various other websites and Facebook groups). Without much fanfare, they recently added two new ones – one casting, one spinning – from the upstart and rapidly-growing 6th Sense.
They’re pretty standard all-around tools, a 7’ medium action fast spinning rod and a 7’1” medium heavy fast casting rod. Both are four pieces and come with a roll-up, segmented travel case. They include a two-year warranty and as of their introduction both are priced at the very reasonable $119.99.
They already offered Milliken Series casting and spinning rods.
So far I’ve been impressed by the rate at which 6th Sense has grown, and by the high quality of many of the products I’ve tried. The fact that they’ve recognized a need to fill this niche is a good sign.
