While air travel with just about any rods these days is often a monumental pain in the butt, serious surf anglers are particularly burdened. Unlike most of us, who use 7- or 8-foot sticks, theirs are often in the 10- to 11-foot range, or even longer. There have also been a dearth of high-end travel surf rods. Daiwa aims to remedy that with their Ardito Series, as we found out from the company’s Chris Martin.
