Bass Tackle for Panama Tuna Trip #5
The highlight of my 2024 fishing travel efforts took place on our last day in Panama, when we got into multiple schools of 10- to 40-pound yellowfin tuna and I caught a pile of them on bass tackle. Fortunately, we have a return trip scheduled for this January, and while that’s not ultra-prime tuna popping time, I’m hoping that I can use some of that same gear for not just tuna, but also inshore species.
