Popular Lure Colors That Don’t Work for Me

Lure colors -- merthiolate, ayu, tweety bird, red shad

Lure colors typically become popular for a reason – they catch fish. That’s why just about every bass angler around uses black/blue, watermelon, green pumpkin, and some sort of shad imitator across many categories of lures. Those are must-have colors.
