Two Discontinued Lure Colors I Cannot Live Without
Plenty of fishing lures and color patterns get discontinued for good reason – they don’t work and/or they’re not popular – but that’s not always the case. For many of us, the fact that a favorite bait is suddenly unavailable somehow makes us think that it’s even more effective than ever before.
Like many of you, I have a number of lures that I ration only for special occasions and will not in any circumstances loan, trade or sell. Here are the stories behind two colors I rely upon yet have trouble restocking:

Of course social media “For Sale” pages and Ebay are solid places to look for all discontinued lures, including some in the colors I’ve described. However, there are also stores that specialize in these items, along with special runs of Zoom Lures. Three that I’ve visited and recommend are:
