Megabass Makippa: Brandon Palaniuk’s Spotted Bass Candy
Two-time Elite Series Angler of the Year Brandon Palaniuk could probably cash a check with a rusty hook and a piece of petrified chewing gum, but with the state of competition on tour today he’s always on the lookout for new lures that will give him an edge. During the 2024 season, he cashed a check during a tough tournament on Alabama’s Smith Lake using a lure that’s not yet widely available in the United States – the Megabass Makippa.
