Valentine’s Day Treats for Your “Honey” Hole

Hanna Robbins Mangrove Snapper Islamorada

I heard someone say that purchasing a Valentine’s Day gift in January makes it a “late Christmas gift.” I disagree. It’s an important opportunity to show someone that you really love them. Don’t be a procrastinator. In fact, it pays to follow the following adage:

Roses are red.

Violets are blue.

You need to purchase at least one if not two.

Spring is just around the corner and therefore red baits are a perfect gift for the angler in your life. The red color and certain red baits are great imitators for crayfish. Crayfish mate in the springtime and the red coloring is more visible for the bass to see. Below are some red baits, accessories and apparel that are time-tested. Any angler who receive these gifts would feel extra special.

New Fire Craw Yamamoto five-inch Senko

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Roses are red.

Violets are blue.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all the anglers from Half Past First Cast to you.
