Hanna’s Big Fish Brazilian Beatdown
Written By Pete Robbins
When we fished Brazil’s Rio Araca in the fall of 2012, I may have beaten her on the overall big fish — I had a 21 and a 20, and she notched a pair of 19s — but Hanna was clearly the winner when it came to consistency. The guides forced her to go full “Rambo” and throw a Kermett Adams prop bait all day, or at least during peak periods. It paid off with at least one double-digit fish every day, and sometimes more.
I cannot believe it’s been almost a decade since that trip. Her skills have advanced so much, it’s hard to imagine what she could do now. We will go back!
