Roboworm’s Morning Dawn Options

Roboworm Morning Dawn Straight Tail Worm

Like many bassheads, I first became aware of the Roboworm color known as “Morning Dawn” during the 2010 Forrest Wood Cup on Georgia’s Lake Lanier, when California’s Kevin Hawk alternated between a Fish Head Spin and  a dropshotted Roboworm to jump from fourth to first and win by over two pounds. Indeed, most of the top finishers in that tournament were using the pinkish-purple pattern.

Since then the color has become a staple in clear water situations, especially but not exclusively when spotted bass are in play. But did you know that Robo has at least six “Dawn” variations? Check them out:

While the original Roboworm Straight Tail Worms are probably my most-used products from their lineup, I also have the following in my rotation:

And I should probably start using the old school Zipper Worm again.

Other manufacturers picked up on the need to integrate Morning Dawn into their product lines. Consider some of the following (not an exhaustive list):

Notably, the popular and versatile Zoom Trick Worm is available in Morning Dawn, Morning Dawn Core and Killer Dawn.
