Tee of the Week – Going All the Way

On our tuna trips to Central America we (or, more typically, the mates) have used gaffs to subdue yellowfins at boatside and then haul them aboard. With particularly big fish it sometimes takes two. Elsewhere, though, both recreational and commercial tuna fishermen use a harpoon with a sharp barbed “dart” at the end for the same purposes.
