Plane Towing a Banner of Tuna Fishing

We just completed our fifth trip to Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge, a hosted adventure that included anglers from at least nine states. They came from coast to coast, plus Alaska, a testament to the fact that it’s far easier to get to Panama than it is to many other exotic fishing locations.

Over the past four years we’ve learned a lot about traveling to Panama, both through our own experiences and through tireless research. Here are some of the articles we’ve written about the topic:

Miscellaneous Travel Info

Remember, we’ve been compiling these links since the spring of 2021, so be sure to double check the info before taking it as the gospel – flight routes, airports and other things change substantially yearly, or even monthly. The overall trend, however, seems to be that travel options to Panama are increasing. If you’ve ever wanted to go there to fish, there’s never been a better time to do it.
